Lore:

The (Poor) Game Studio spent all their money on a nice leds and chameleon and they can't handle the bugs in their game. To make matters worse, their new glow system in the game attracts even more bugs. Help them end this.

How to play?

Your task is to eat as many bugs as possible.

There are strange glitches on the screen, of which you will be notified a moment earlier.
The console is full of bugs whenever you look at them and when you try to touch them the game freezes so avoid them as much as you can.

Try to get the highest score and good luck!

About game:

This game, as well as all sprites, music, scripts and sound effects, were made by me in 3 days during Zeno Jam which theme was "light attracts bugs".

This is my score:

This was first Game Jam i ever joined and also first game i created.

I hope you will like it!

Update 1.1:

Due to the fact that this is my first Game Jam game, I won't change much to have a nice souvenir.

I only made slight changes to things I thoughts that wasn't very well made during the jam and it was:

-tongue speed (now it is better balanced and game is more skill based than rng based)

-now the game is a bit harder when you get higher score

-now the game more responsive in browser and you can play it on mobile

-I changed the itch.io website look a bit

Good idea, good execution! Only minor complaint is, albeit intentional, how the tongue lags behind your cursor. But overall good work!

Honestly that was really great. I loved the opening story bit, the graphics had a nice art style and the gameplay was surprisingly addictive. Good job!
